Who are you? What does 2 Chicks & A Trailer actually do?

We are so glad you asked! We are Kristen and Elle. We founded 2 Chicks & A Trailer in 2023. What started as a small spark ignited a big flame when we decided to break our way into a predominantly male industry (junk removal) and marry it with our cleaning company to give consumers a one-stop-shop.

We are moms to an amazing little boy who pushes us every single day to make the world a little better! We want to teach him that hard work pays off and passion can drive your future!

So, what do we actually do? In a sense, we do it all! Junk removal and hauling, home cleaning, commercial cleaning, power washing, and so much more! You can find a list of all of our junk removal services here and see what we offer for cleanings here.

We started our company with one dream in mind: be the best in the business! When we say best, we don't mean have the most clients and make the most money. What matters to us is our impact on our community, the relationships we build, the individuals we help through business and employment, and the impact on our environment.

What is considered "junk"?

"Junk" is a very basic term. Junk is defined as unwanted items and junk removal is the pickup and removal of those items. Some hear the word junk and immediately think trash, garbage, or rubbish. But it's so much more than that. It can include a loved ones items that you're finally ready to let go of or that elliptical machine you swore you'd use that's since become a coat rack in your living room. It can be mattresses when you've upgraded, old appliances when you've finally saved enough to purchase new ones, or the rubble left behind after a natural disaster. Whatever you consider "junk," we're here to help you remove any items that are taking up space in your home or business.

Can't I just throw it away?

Of course! You're more than welcome to haul your unwanted items to the local dump or hope they get picked up with the next bulk trash day. But did you know that most of your items can be recycled, repurposed, or donated to those in need? Our goal is to donate and / or recycle 90% of all junk items we pick up! If it's a broken dresser, we fix it, repurpose it, and give it new life so it can be donated to a family or individual in need! Your old mattress can be cleaned and given to a shelter or family to keep them from sleeping on the floor. Your old fridge can be stripped down so the precious metals and plastics can be recycled and made into something new.
